Jake Davis is a newly-professional Polaroid photographer from Maui, Hawai’i, operating in the greater Tampa area. With a passion for film and all things analog, he captures stunning photographs containing equally exciting anomalies only found on vintage cameras.

Film photography has been a passion for Jake since early high school after receiving a recently refurbished 1978 Polaroid SX-70 Sonar for Christmas. Ever since the first photo was taken, a strong love has been burning intensely to capture the next best shot (before the pack is empty!) Jake’s current arsenal of cameras includes a MiNG-modified SX-70 Alpha with full manual control, a more modern Polaroid Lab scanner for mobile prints straight from a smartphone, and the top-of-the-line SLR 680 with sonar autofocus and built-in flash for wildly varying environments, groups, and scenarios.

In addition to film photography, Jake works with a mirrorless Sony Alpha A7IV camera on occasion, particularly for landscape shots or portrait work.
